Multiple Postdoctoral, Master's, and Ph.D. Positions in Advanced Semiconductor Nanoscale and Quantum Materials and Devices for Electronics, Photonics, Optoelectronics, and Clean Energy.
The Nanoscale and Hybrid Materials Laboratory (www.polymtl.ca/nhl/en) at école Polytechnique de Montréal is looking for highly motivated and dynamic young scientists to fill several Postdoctoral, Master's, and Ph.D. positions in advanced semiconductor nanostructured and quantum materials for high-mobility electronics, photonics, optoelectronics, and clean energy.
Candidates for Master's and Ph.D. scholarships must hold an internationally-recognized bachelor or Master’s degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) with a solid training in solid state physics, semiconductor devices, materials science and engineering, or related disciplines.
Candidates of the Postdoctoral positions must have a solid expertise in one or more of the following areas: epitaxy (CVD), group IV photonics, fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices, advanced characterization of materials (optical and electro-optical techniques, transmission electron microscopy, atom probe tomography, etc.), semiconductor device simulations and modeling.
